Heises Plumbing completed 40-gallon gas water heater installation at a property in the Haight-Ashbury of San Francisco.
The Problem
A property management client in San Francisco reported a 40-gallon water heater tank failure. The unit was leaking, the burner was flooded, and the pilot light could not be relit.
Work Performed
We prepared the area, turned off the water supply, and drained the failing unit. We hauled away the old water heater and installed a new 40-gallon skinny water heater to better fit the constrained space. We installed a new water heater pan, a new 3/4-inch tee, a 1-inch copper 90, two new supply lines, a new gas flex supply line, and an earthquake strap kit. The new water heater was tested to ensure proper operation.
