Heise's Plumbing completed a professional appliance installation service at a residential property in South San Francisco, CA. The customer requested the installation of a complete refrigerator ice maker kit to upgrade their kitchen appliance.
Our local appliance technician arrived on-site and performed a detailed installation of the OEM ice maker kit. The installation included mounting the new water valve, running a durable water supply line from the water valve to the freezer compartment, securing the ice maker unit itself, and positioning the ice storage basket.
Following installation, the ice maker system was thoroughly tested. We verified that water flows properly from the main water supply to the water valve. Since a new waterline requires time to fill completely, we advised the customer that the line would fill automatically before initiating the first harvest cycle and recommended discarding the first few batches of ice to clear any system dust. All connections were verified to be operating safely and efficiently before the service was completed.
