Heise's Plumbing recently resolved a severe sewer backup for a residence in the Miraloma Park neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The homeowner reported that the main sewer line was backing up. The technician performed a detailed diagnosis, attempting to clear the block from the house trap. When that proved unsuccessful, the team removed a brass cap from the sewer cleanout and snaked the line using a heavy-duty sewer machine. This cleared the root intrusion and restored full flow through the house trap in compliance with guidelines from the San Francisco Water, Power and Sewer agency. To complete the repair, the technician purchased and installed a new three-inch ABS cap on the cleanout in accordance with local plumbing regulations. All drain cleaning services and plumbing connections were thoroughly tested, running multiple upstairs fixtures to verify safe, reliable, and free-flowing operation.
