Heises Plumbing completed a Seismic Gas Shut-Off Valve Installation at a residential property in the Sunset District, San Francisco, to provide enhanced safety and monitoring for the home's plumbing systems.
The Problem
The customer needed a gas earthquake shut-off valve and a water leak detection system installed.
Our Solution
Heises Plumbing evaluated the existing gas and water main connections. We installed a new 1-inch Flo by Moen water detection system, removed the existing 1-inch PRV and installed a new PRV after the main garage gate valve using 1-inch copper pipe and fittings. We also furnished and installed a 1 1/2-inch seismic gas shut-off valve using appropriate gas nipples.
